1. ***** As most of you will know by now young Liam Fairhurst sadly lost his fight against cancer. During his short life Liam not only raised £350,000 for CLICSargeant but his inspired all who met him with his courage and oulook on life. Once again this years event at Tattersalls is for CLICSargeant so I am asking all N.D.P.L members to step up and help make this years competition one of the best as our tribute to a brave young man. So find a partner and come along and help us make the day a success ***

2. Exning P.C & F.H.D.C Charity Pairs 2009...........This years event at Tattersalls will be held on the 16/8/09. The nominated charity this year is is once again CLICSargeant, all league members will probably know of this charity due to the fund raising carried out by Liam Fairhurst from Soham. The committee would like to make this years event the most successful so far, so find yourself a partner and come along and enter. If you cannot find a partner contact Ken, Mick or Tricia and we will help to find you a team partner. We would like to see an abundance of entries from the N.D.P.L ,there are plenty of you so come along and enjoy the day. This is an open competition for normal players anyone can win.

   The entry fee is £10 per pair, the competition is open to allcomers, novices or experienced players. 9.45am registration for a 10.30am start.

6. Just to let everyone know that the proposed match against Norfolk has been scrapped. The commitee did not recieve any interest or replies from the fliers sent out.
